Dear ragini, We have opening for the post of "Sr developer - web services" Location: Bangalore - karnataka Company: A product company in education space Basic Salary - Rs 500000 - Rs 800000 Job Description: Being a part of the Product Engineering team and taking part in the development work effort for the product development of new generation products (J2EE platform) in the education vertical � including a Campus ERP Solution and web portal for the education fraternity, reporting into the Development Lead Helping in the evaluation of Development Frameworks / Tools as per the directions of the Development Lead and /or Engineering Manager Understanding J2EE best practices and design / coding standards and ensuring these are being adhered to Participating in product development activities � including Tools setup, Low Level design, Coding, Unit Testing, Code reviews and walkthroughs, Defect fixing and Packaging Translating the High Level design into Low Level design and Code, Providing inputs to estimations Handling test defects and bug fixing as a result of Unit / System / Regression tests Reporting periodic status to the Development Lead and / or Engineering Manager Ensuring PLM project processes are being followed and up to-date project documentation is maintained on an ongoing basis Participating in assigned training, continuous self study and ensuring technical skills are relevant to the needs of the product. Should demonstrate: Excellent technical skills as outlined below Excellent communication skills � written & verbal Ability to delve into emerging technologies and evaluate new tools and frameworks for inclusion in the product development approach Ability to take ownership of tasks and excellent problem solving capabilities Ability to work on a full lifecycle new product development Good knowledge of design principles Ability to simultaneously work with multiple stakeholders across the organization Good understanding of object-oriented approaches to software development and Iterative development methodologies Technical skills: Strong J2EE knowledge � JSP�s, Servlets, JMS, JDBC, JNDI XML / HTML - AJAX, XML, XSL, SAX, HTML, JavaScript Exposure to relational databases � MySQL, Oracle Persistence Layer � Hibernate / IBatis / TopLink Frameworks � Spring / JSF / Struts Middleware � Apache Tomcat / JBoss / Websphere Application Server Development IDE � NetBeans / Eclipse Exposure to Web Services (SOAP, RPC, Apache-Axis) Strong OOAD Concepts, UML, Knowledge of Design Patterns and Localization / Internationalization (Java I89 packages) Build Tools � ANT / Maven Should possess a similar profile to: Sr. Developers: Overall J2EE experience of at least 4 years, preferably in new product development At least 1 year experience in leading small teams or modules Bachelor"s/Master"s degree in computer or related engineering field Ideally: Has exposure to the education and/or ERP space Please match this profile send yours CV same ID asap. mention CTC: Expected: DOB: Notice Period: Regards HR | ||
