Job description
Will Report to Team lead / Technical Lead

Qualification Essential:
Minimum BS/BE/BTech in Computer Science.
MS in CS preferred.
Note: MCA and non-CS degrees are not considered unless experience justifies. Top school candidates can get some relaxation on experience.

Desirable:
Certified in Microsoft Technologies
Understanding of financial market

Technical/Business Skills & Knowledge Essential

Win Forms / WPF
- Multi-threading
- Design Patterns (CAB, Observer, Builder etc)
- WPF knowledge preferred.

MS SQL Server
- SQL Queries
- Data modeling
- Indexes and query tuning
- Performance

ASP.Net (preferably 2.0)
- MVC/MVP/MVPC design pattern is a must. Knowledge of Web Client Software Factory is a plus.
- Http handles, http modules
- Web parts
- Themes, master pages, new data controls, membership, roles and profiles.

Strong object oriented programming skills â€" C# (no VB)
- CLR internals
- .NET Framework 3.5 (minimum 2.0) â€" knowledge of generics, collection classes


Strong background in data structures, algorithm, state models preferred.
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills


Main Duties/Responsibilities Of The Role:
- Design/implement user interface components for a thick client (WPF) buy-side trading and portfolio management system.
- Write unit tests (C#, .NET Framework) for Presenter layer in MVP design pattern.
- Create advanced user controls in WPF for data capture, visualization.
- Implement data access layer using LINQ, SqlCeResultSet etc.
- Design and implement web services using WCF.
- Create client-side reports

Special Circumstance
- Willing to work flexible hours (to overlap with the US time zone)

Experience: 5-7 years
