2-3 years of experience in Installer Development using InstallShield and Windows Installer.
Education : B.E./B.Tech/MCA from a reputed Institution.
Job Description
1. Maintaining and developing Installs using InstallShield.
Primary Technical Skills:
1. Strong knowledge of Install Shield.
2. Strong knowledge of Windows Installer.
3. Knowledge in at least one of following scripting languages like VB, and Windows batch script.
4. Knowledge of Operating Systems – Solaris, Linux, Windows 2000, XP, 2003.
Work Experience:
1. Develop new Install using Install Shield (Basic MSI and or Install Script).
2. User support to handle Installer issues.
3. Automation of Install generation using script.
Secondary Technical Skills:
1. Familiarity with any programming language.
2. .NET Framework Basics
Soft Skills (Must have)
1. Should have good verbal and written communication skills
2. Good presentation skills
3. Good Interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment – independent responsibility and guiding junior members.
4. Must be proactive and good planner of work.
