Our Client is looking for an experienced C++ programmer with strong object-oriented background, practical working knowledge of the C++, MFC, ATL, STL standard library, experience building applications using Microsoft .Net (C#, ASP.Net, ODP.NET, .Net Framework), and experience in accessing Oracle from C++ applications. Essential desired skills include:

  • Experience developing reusable class library, ATL/STL and com+
  • Experience with the Oracle Pro-C pre-compiler
  • Experience with MS .Net, c#, .Net framework, ASP.Net
  • Experience accessing an Oracle DB via ODP.NET
  • Strong SQL database manipulation experience
  • Familiarity with Oracle Forms and Reports development environment
  • SPSS statistical programming experience a plus
  • Experience with macro programming language a plus
  • Documentation of application via Design and Functional specifications
  • Team-oriented, goal-focused self-starter capable of working with minimum supervision
  • Firm understanding of object-oriented analysis and design
  • Ability to work directly with business unit managers to identify and capture requirements
  • Knowledge and use of Agile development methodologies
  • Must be able to code, test, debug complex application

Additional valuable background in one or more of the following:

  • Experience adhering to project management procedures and policies
  • Knowledge of Delphi programming and development environment
  • Experience with XML technologies (XML, XSD schema, XSLT transformations)
  • Classic ASP web programming and Dynamic HTML scripting
  • Experience with SPSS statistical programming package
  • Experience with WordPerfect macro programming language
  • Experience with test development and scoring applications

BS in Computer Science or related field

Candidate will be expected to work independently in all phases of the software development life cycle from requirements through testing. Strong statistical or mathematics background is highly desirable.
