Great Opportunity with a Dynamic Company for a VC++/SQL Software Engineer!

Our client is seeking a Visual C++/SQL Server Application Developer. Successful applicant will: design, develop, debug and maintain multi-threaded server-based payment gateway applications; Perform unit and integration testing. Work closely with vendor/partners, engineering team, and QA to deliver timely and complete solutions; Point of Sale application experience is a definite plus. Not looking for a DBA, but a Visual C++ application developer who is knowledgeable about SQL Server usage.

Required Experience

* BS in CS, CE or equivalent
* 4 years C++ development
* Visual C++
* C
* Multi-threaded Client Server applications
* Object oriented design
* SQL Server 2000/2003
* Triggers, stored procedures
* Optional pluses (any of the following): Point of sale payment industry expertise, ISO 8583 protocols, Working knowledge of cryptography, Communications protocols, Web services experience, .NET Framework
* Self-starter with proven ability to execute
* Skilled problem solver
* Good oral and written communications
* Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
