Our Chicago office is seeking a developer with the financial industry experience. This person will be part of a team developing in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Tasks will include feature development, debugging existing modules, and writing documentation for new and existing features.
Requires a minimum of 2 years experience developing applications in a networked Client Server environment. Prefer Windows and some Unix development background. Proficiency with C++ required. Experience with UML, MFC, SQL, and multi-tiered distributed system important. Familiarity with source code control systems and other quality control mechanisms desired. Good oral and written communication skills a must. Bachelor's degree required (technical field preferred).
Qualifications:
Experience: 2+ years
Languages: C++/VC++, Java, C#, SQL
Libraries: MFC, STL, SWING
Methodologies: UML/RUP
Platform: Windows
Financial industry experience: required. Familiarity with option fundamentals a plus.
BS in Computer Science (or equivalent).

We are looking for someone who is strong with Visual C++/MFC. The initial project is a modification of an existing Windows app. This individual doesn't necessarily need many years of experience, just as long as they know their stuff. An ideal candidate should be able to:
1. Analyze specifications.
2. Identify alternative solutions, which are always listened and appreciated.
3. Implement the solution.
4. Update/write documentation of the affected functionality.
