LocATION: Bangalore, India
Position â€" Team Lead for BI/Business Intellengence
EXPERIENCE: 7+ Years

EDUCATION: BE/ BTech / MCA

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
a) Will be part of Product Implementation or DWH Engineering Team
b) Responsible datamodel design or database optimizations
c) Responsible for physical data model & fine tuning of the physical layout according to the customer deployment scenarios
d) Excellent at performance tuning, ETL Performance, Capacity Planning of relevant Database
e) Identifying the solutions approaches for the integration issues.
f) Maintaining required documentation, testing according to the requirement specifications
g) Responsible for the delivery of components or modules of the work
h) Expert in any one data base
i) Guide small teams in the technology approach and perform code reviews and ensure 100% bug free code is developed

RELEVANT ASPECTS OF THE ROLE:
a) Worked on at least two end to end BI projects. Very strong in handling large volumes of database (around 500gb to 1.5tb)
b) Should be strong knowledge in any one of the databases like DB2, Oracle, Teradata, MS SQL, Green plum etc.
c) Should be good understanding and command over SQL Language
d) Should have good flair for data and debugging data integration issues.
e) Should have either worked with reporting module of the project or ETL of the project
f) Good Knowledge of SDLC

GOOD TO HAVE:
a) Should have worked with any of the reporting tools or MIS teams in data reconciliations
b) Knowledge of SSIS or any ETL tools in the market
c) Retail or CPG domain experience
