Dear Sumedh, Client: Fiserv Globle India Position: Application Security Professionals Duties: The position is responsible for implementing and enforcing application security policy. The incumbent is also responsible for developer training, advocacy of secure development practices, application vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, secure design reviews, secure code reviews, and security incident response. As a security specialist you will work in close coordination with various groups, identify vulnerabilities through a combination of assessments and testing of the web application and network resources and share critical knowledge between Management and developers. Technical Skills: � Strong Web application security experience with through understanding of web application vulnerabilities. � Knowledge of database, application, and Web server design and implementation � Knowledge of application Security Architecture. � Knowledge of the software development lifecycle in a large enterprise. � Knowledge on Securing Windows and UNIX/Linux Operating Systems. � Knowledge of computer forensics, network exploitation, ethical hacking, penetration testing and tool development a plus. � Development background in .Net, Java, Perl, Python a plus � Familiarity with at least one network and web application vulnerability scanners as well as source code analysis tools. � Experience in application level attacks, bypassing firewalls, evading intrusion detection are a nice-to-have � Familiarity with Security Standards and groups (OWASP, WASC, FISMA) Non Technical Skills: � Independent, self motivated worker � Strong problem solving skills � Strong written and verbal communication skills.
