You will also have: Solid technical knowledge of & problem solving experience with the following networking components, hardware and software applications: Ethernet network topology. Communications technologies & systems, including dealing phones telephone Switches, voicemail & Microsoft Exchange. Microsoft operating Systems (Windows 95, 98, NT & 2000). Installation, configuration & implementation of Routers, Hubs, Switches, printers (AS/400/network & stand alone). All aspects of Servers maintenance & development (downing, rebooting, backups etc). Microsoft office family, Hemmings, pricing service applications - REUTERS, TOPIC (Trader, Workstation), LXT, AUTEX, Instinet, Track Data & Bloomberg. Internet, Intranet and E-commerce concepts, processes & applications Previous experience in a customer facing position. Qualifications required are: Minimum of 5 O Levels/GCSE's to include Maths & English Language at Grade C or above. Microsoft Certified Professional in at least 2 subjects or equivalent desirable.
