Skills Required
 Knowledge of Software Packaging and Distribution technologies.
 Strong knowledge of windows installer technology and hands on experience on application packaging (MSI packaging) tools like Wise Package Studio, Installshield Adminstudio, Orca, ORK etc.,
 Knowledge of Operating system (Windows Vista/XP SP2/Windows Server 2003 etc) concepts like file system, registries, DNS, Folder Permissions, Security permissions (files, folders & Registries) and access level.
 Strong troubleshooting skills and hands on experience on different troubleshooting tools like picture taker, installrite, regmon, filemon, event viewer, etc.
 Strong knowledge and experience on writing custom actions using vbscript/wisescript
 Exposure to hardware/drivers related applications packaging and their impact on the system.
 Creating transforms for customization (MST) and knowledge on Merge Modules.
 Exposure to usage of VMware workstations
 Hands on experience on any of the deployment tools like SMS, SCCM, Altiris, Marimba, Radia etc.
 Experience in Windows Imaging technologies and automated build and release processed using various automation tools (Symantec, SCCM, Altiris)
 Highly motivated and should work as a good team player and have the ability work independently.
 Ability to multi-task and work under strict deadlines.
 Good communications and presentation skills and candidates must have the ability to communicate with internal/external customers, vendors, management etc. in both formal and informal situations.
