If you are interested for this position mail us your resume to soumya@valuevisionindia.com Job Title: Software Engineer (Experience: 4 to 8 yrs) Essential Responsibilities: Development of Applications for Media domain: � Be responsible for integrating with various Media frameworks � QNX MME; OpenCORE; GStreamer � Google Android development � Program in C/C++/Java � Performing and delivering effort estimations and risk analysis � Analyze existing embedded software in order to be capable to make technical assessments. � Perform code reviews and other activities to ensure high-quality results. � Provide unit and component tests plus documentation for software modules. � Coding following HBAS software processes and object-oriented and embedded software industry best practices. � Bug-fixing and implementation of features, based on the need. Basic Qualifications: Following experience and knowledge is needed: � CPU: Intel, ARM, � RTOS: QNX, Linux. Proficiency in real time multi-threaded software design and development � Doman Skills: Media domain expert � Platforms: Be familiar with Android Development; PalmPre and Apple SDK � Design: Object Oriented Analysis and Design , UML Modelling � Programming Language: C++ , C, Java � Embedded Systems: Development of software for large embedded systems. � Tools: Development and Debugging using Host � Target tool chains for embedded platforms � Experience developing and debugging object-oriented software in a real-time, embedded, multi-processor, multi-interface environment � Experiences with architectures and frameworks in embedded environments (synchronous/asynchronous event processing) � Automotive industry or other QS9000 compliant work experience Optional Skills � Knowledge of QNX Momentics development environment.
