This mail is regard to a Engineering Manager position with a CMM Level 5 Company in Bangalore.

Exp : 7 to 10 yrs

Location: Bangalore

Designation: Engineering Manager

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science.

Role:

Typically requires seven to ten years of technical experience in software development, including end-to-end software design, development and delivery process, with general experience managing and leading technical teams of 10-25 engineers.

Java, Tapestry and Hivemind services, Flex, Jasper, WebServices, portlets, Oracle, Hibernate (O/R tools), Java Script, XML, JServ, Apache, Tomcat etc.

Technical Competencies:

Technical / Functional :

Excellent management skills with in-depth knowledge of company's software development design procedures.
Excellent trouble shooting, debugging & Analytical skills
Excellent organizational, decision-making, communications and teamwork skills. Solid background in software design and development utilizing object oriented methodologies and tools.
Familiar with and committed to the Agile/XP project methodology.
Hands on experience with development technologies, such as Java, Tapestry and Hivemind services, Flex, Jasper, WebServices, portlets, Oracle, Hibernate (O/R tools), Java Script, XML, JServ, Apache, Tomcat etc. is expected.

Note: Candidate from product development background with consulting experience would be the ideal fit.

Managerial :

Excellent management skills with in-depth knowledge of company's software development design procedures. Excellent organizational, decision-making, communications and teamwork skills.
