Relevant Experience Education: BE / Diploma in Mechanical Experience: 3+ Years Location: Pune JOB OUTPUT: Under the supervision of the Plant Manager, this position provides technical expertise and leadership to continuously improve the effectiveness of the maintenance process, develop and focus technical resources on plant projects, and initiatives to improve safety, quality of products, and manufacturing efficiencies. KEY PROCESSES (Ownership/Participation): �Demonstrates leadership to promote a safe working environment for all employees. Supports the company�s 8-Step Safety Process. Ensures the facility is in compliance with all required safety and environmental regulations. �Manages and develops the maintenance staff. �Participates in new product development process (NPD) and coordinates local engineering and maintenance team activities for the rollout of new products. �Manages relationship with contractors and plant maintenance team during construction and installation of projects; assures compliance with drawings and specifications; assists with the analysis and resolution of problems during checkout and start-up of the equipment. �Updates, modifies, and makes new drawings using AutoCAD. �Continually improves and analyzes the production lines to increase throughput. �Maintains and updates documents reflecting the status of the plant layout, electrical, gas and water systems, and equipment repair or modification paperwork. �Provides technical support to the maintenance department in the areas of trouble shooting, repair and calibration of plants systems and equipment. �Provides Engineering assistance in process measurement, Statistical Process Control Systems, new equipment and information systems, maintenance support, and training on production line systems. �Provides engineering support for plant projects and manages projects from concept to completion.
