Requirement: Rational Tools Specilaist (Requisitepro, Robot, Clearcase, Clearquest, Unified process, Portfolio Manager)

• The Tool Specialist in this job role will have expertise in Rational tools (eg. RequisitePro, ClearCase, ClearQuest, Rational Portfolio Manager), setup, configuration and use.
• The Tool Specialist is conversant with the functions of the Rational Tools and will be able to guide the technical team in the use of these tools.
• The Tool Specialist is able to align the use of the Rational tools with the processes for Incident/Problem Management, Service Request Management, Change Management, Project life cycle management (including SDLC).
• Typical examples of the deliverables are Tools Configuration and User Guide. The Tool Specialist primarily applies his technical and functional skills in an external customer billable services and implementation environment.
• As a Tool Specialist, you are a key contributor to the implementation of service delivery processes, the tools setup and configuration for the client environment and the training of the technical team on the use of these tools.

Experience and/or expertise in the following areas is required:
• work experience should include 4 to 7 years working in a application maintenance and development environment with a deadline-driven and service delivery high performance environment
• ability to work and communicate with technical development team
• experienced in Rational Rose, Rational RequisitePro and Rational Unified Process (RUP)
• self-motivated, flexible and able to work with minimal guidance
• excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills

Levels Required: 4 - 8 years

Work Location: Malaysia
