NVIDIA is looking for world-class software engineers to help develop industry leading solutions with our Installer software group. Successful candidates will need a understanding of Windows internals and expertise writing C++ applications to empower it.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As a Installer Software Engineer you will mainly work on the Installer to improve the usability for our Nvidia
Installer.
- Design and implement the functionality of the Installer.
- Understand the customer’s needs for future functionality.
- Analyze and root cause bugs and apply the appropriate software fix.
- Working with worldwide teams on interfaces and software
- Working with the support team or directly with the customer to resolve customer issues
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- BS or higher degree in Computer Science, or related degree.
- 3 years of Windows application development experience.
- Atleast 2 years of InstallSheild Experience
- Excellent C/C++ programming skills, and knowledge of object oriented programming and design.
- Experience developing applications for Windows, using Win32 API, MFC, ATL
- Strong debugging skills and an understanding of Windows internals.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Good communication and discovery skills, the ability to work both independently, within a team and with end
customers.
- Device Driver experience a definite plus
