EXPERIENCE, CHARACTERISTICS & KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Educational/ Professional Qualifications (Essential): BE/ BTech/ MCA/ MBA :
- Good Communication Skills
- 6 – 10yrs experience in IT Industry, out of which atleast 3years in hard-core service delivery
Role Description :
Manage project or a portfolio of projects.
Accountable for project deliverables (e.g. scope, cost, schedule and quality) and managing the project team
Accountable for customer relationship
Responsible for managing stakeholders and reporting the project progress
Skills Required :
Experience in IT- Infrastructure Projects
Knowledge in preparing / developing project schedules, estimation , establishing measures and milestones, definition , scoping , tracking etc
Exposure to data center migration/consolidation, transition, infrastructure deployment and management
Experience in managing projects through use of processes like risk management, quality management & Issue/problem management
Exposure to MS Project & Vision
ITIL and Six Sigma certified, will get preference
Good communication, presentation & leadership skills
Must be well versed with Process enabling Tool deployment.
Must have exposure to offshore delivery models.
A person with multiple skills in Unix, Wintel, End-user desk top environment and networking would be preferred.
Primary Responsibilities :
Responsible for design, planning and scheduling the project
Monitoring and tracking project schedule and budget
Updating project schedules and budgets
Project reporting and updating the database
Responsible for managing stakeholders and updating them on project progress
