Position : JAVA / J2EE SOLUTION ARCHITECT

8+ years of IT experience
3+ years of hard-core architectural experience
Technical Skills
Architect with J2EE technologies
Designed and implemented distributed systems
Excellent with RDBMS and data modeling
Strong exposure to Application Servers
Extremely proficient on core as well as J2EE design patterns
Should have designed & implemented SOA, Web-services solutions.
Extremely good on UML
Knowledge of CORBA will be an added advantage
Experience on performance monitoring & improvement a plus.
Responsibilities
Demonstrates traceability between design & requirements
Modeling - business process, logical & physical (data)
Identify candidate and alternative architecture & designs & do trade off analysis
Prepare architectural & design docs and presentations
Identify solutions
Participate in designing frameworks.
Review technical artifacts
Sets standards and best practices in design & development for project team
Should have been involved in Prototype, experiment (POC) & simulate
Support scoping activities
Identify technical risks and mitigate them
Ensures performance considerations are part of design and implementation.
Sound knowledge of at-least 1 dev methodologies i.e. MSF, SCRUM, RUP, XP
Expert in SDLC processes i.e. Configuration Management, Release Management, Testing, Tools Integration

Position : J2EE Tech Lead:

Minimum of 6+ years Application development experience
* 3-5 Years Java
* 3 Years OO Analysis and Design

Non-technical Requirements:

* Demonstrated success and strong experience with problem-solving abilities
* Strong verbal communication skills
* Experience with the complete SDLC
* Very good Team Lead capabilities (to have handled a team of 5 + developers)
Technical Skills:
Provide the highest level of skill, quality, and timeliness of work while keeping abreast of changes in the software development and technology fields.

3+ years OO Analysis and Design, UML (Class Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, etc)
Thorough understanding and application of design patterns
Experience playing a Senior-Level role on large, complex development projects: (5+ Years).
Experience with JUnit
Experience with ANT building tools
Evaluate and improve performance using OptimizeIT/JProbe/Netbeans Profiler etc
Work with business analysts in understanding new requirements
Project Management skills
OOPs , Core Java , Web Designing (JSP) , Design Patterns , J2EE,UML, XML , Oracle 10 G or 9i , Transaction Management , LDAP , JAAS , Web Services
Managerial Skills:
Good team lead capabilities
Mentoring junior members

7 Mandatory - Core Java, JDBC
8 Mandatory - J2EE - should have worked in JSP, Servlets and either (EJB or Spring or Hibernate),
9 Mandatory in Database â€" Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL
10 Aware in XML XSLT, ORM (Hibernate), Ant, Junit, Eclipse, weblogic, SDLC, Unix, WebServices, SOAP, Flex, HTML/JSP/CSS, MQ-Series, JMS, UML
11 Worked in product company

• Ability to pickup new technologies, solve complex technical problems and multitask between different projects
• Strong Architectural and Software life cycle experience
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred:
• Experience with technologies such as Macromedia Flex, Hibernate, build tools such as Ant
• MySQL database server
• Linux
• MS or equivalent degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
